Identity

There is one thing I like at some people, Jews, for instance: the way they keep track of their ancestors. Apparently it helps them see themselves better. Each person is unique and it should not matter what others did, it should only matter what you have done or what you have been doing, but having a past is something inherited that no one can change, so knowing it helps some people understand the future. Knowing your past helps you indentify when history asks you who are you just like when the police officer pulls you over when you drive the car and asks for the driving license. Whether politically, religiously, economically or otherwise, each driver should have the driving license and know where is that driving license coming from.
